My wind screen washer keeps disappearing! Full one day empty the next (with little to no use). I took the reseviour out checked it over for leaks and reconnected all back together and still empties out. Apologies for the annoying/boring problem, but does anyone have any ideas?
 
funnily enough mine has just started doing this these last few weeks... cant see any obvious leaks eaither... i guess the bumber will need to come off for investigation when the weather picks up

Probably this. I know my nearside headlight washer is broken (leaks and doesn't pop up) and if I use the screen wash it can drain the tank very very quickly.
 
Right so some more investigative work to be done, I have mondial warranty, worth giving the car to BMW for this? Or will it be more trouble than its worth
 
If it's the pipe then the complete run from the washer bottle to both jets should still be under £30. Was less than £25 when I bought for years ago. Not sure on cost of washer jet.

So depends on warranty excess and if it's covered. If you use the washers whilst stationary you should end up with a puddle somewhere of there is a leak. Should be easy to find.
 
try pulling the circuit breaker for the headlight washer, if it doesn't drain, you'll know its that part of the system. I personally, removed the pop up headlight washer thingies, they just make a damn mess.. (and add about 1kgs to the front bumper)
