Where to sell a classic mini cooper?

Hi Everyone

We've got a lovely classic mini cooper - it's a '98 R reg (I know, classic as in shape, modern as in it's an MPI and has an airbag!!).

Have put it so far on ebay as a classified ad and gumtree but no joy - any ideas where people look for these?

It's got no rust, 12m MOT, 6m Tax and only 65k miles on it, in classic red/white.

This isn't an advert for it (I'd have posted it in the right section) - just after advice as to where to sell.

Thanks

Can you give us a link to the eBay ad? I'd have thought eBay was a good place. Maybe a mini forum or in a mini magazine?

Hi I have one of these, mine is a sportspack. I frequent a few forums minifinity and theminiforum being the best. Classic cars for sale and classic cars are good websites too. Depending on condition it could be worth not much to quite a lot. ( £1500 - £8000)

Happy to help any way I can

Cheers

Hi, I be got a classic mini (that I adore!!), try Miniworld Magazine or Mini mag both offer free for sale ads plus you can look up any local clubs that take classifieds. Jools

Hi everyone

Here's the link http://bit.ly/14M2iUp

I think I've pitched it about right - it's obviously had work done so isn't a concourse show car box fresh from the factory but its really very good.

I'll check out the mini forums and classic car forums - thanks everyone.
