Where to look?

Quick bit of advice please all.

So problem number.. lost count.

In short over scanty bits of road the front wheels feel loose. As if they are going off in separate directions. Can feel it throughout the cabin and through the steering wheel.

There is no knocking when turning.

Any idea where to look? Control arms and drop links are feeling pretty solid. No play at all.

Have you got a list of all the part numbers in the diagram, or any more schematics detailing the suspension of the Z4

I would get an alignment check, before any random suspension changes. :wink:

I was suspecting this, does anyone have a photo of what good arb bushes look like on the car?

Should the arb be pretty much touching the chassis?

When my e85 lollipops were worn the steering wheel started to judder while braking :?

ARB should be a tight fit around the bar with no oval'ing or gaps, mine was obviously worn. The lolypop was tatty but felt tight, once removed it became obvious that it was soft and knackered. (Both passed an MOT so were technically 'OK'!)
