Where to get the Convertible Top Hydraulic Pump Motor

Hello all...I'm trying to find where to get the Convertible Top Hydraulic Pump Motor---just the motor, not the whole assembly. I just got this car about 6 months ago and loving it. But, the convertible top motor went out. Now that it's summer, I'm finally getting around to trying to fix it. I've followed some instructions and removed the pump and motor but haven't been able to find a replacement part. The ones I've seen on Amazon look different (has anyone tried them) and places like ECS seem to have the complete pump and motor assembly for around $750+.

I appreciate any comments, thoughts or suggestions.

If you want a new motor then it will be pretty expensive. If you have any breakers yards it may be worth sourcing a second hand used pump as that will be cheaper.

I have seen online some people have managed to revive the pump by drying it out and giving it a heavy coat of WD40 or some other water dispersant.

The other option is apparently a 2014 Ford Mustang roof motor fits and works. Might be slightly cheaper than a BMW original.
