The BT card / 4 digit number appears to be missing from my handbook . On the E85 the number can be found within the car so just wondered if anyone had found their number & if so where was it located ?

I not aware that a code is supplied separately for the E89. I've not been given one for either of my E89's and haven't had any problem connecting BT devices. When you get to the appropriate menu in the car where you can select "add new device" the BT name of the vehicle is displayed. You then search for and select that name on say your phone. I'm not sure if the phone or the car generates the passkey but as long as it's entered correctly the pairing takes place.

If I recall correctly (probably not) you enter a code of your choosing and then the phone will ask for the same code. I certainly don't have a BT card and had no issues connecting mine.

Did the exact same! Connected bluetooth and the old owners phone appeared.
Deleted it first then code came up on my phone. Entered it in the car and voila. Great succes as Borat said :D
