Where to buy rear springs

So one of my rear springs decided to snap at the weekend. Not sure where/what to buy to replace. There are various advertised via EBay, but they all seem to say 'not suitable for M sport suspension'. I have 2.5si M Sport, so can anyone advise exactly what I need, and where is best to buy from?

Or do I just go to BMW for OEM springs?

Seems a good price, but not sure if I want to lower. How easy are the fronts to change?

I got my local garage to fit them, so I don't know how easy it is.

As the M-sport springs are already lower than non-m-sport springs, the Eibachs will only give you an extra 15-25mm extra drop, so would be quite subtle.

(note in this pic, the rears are fitted with lower profile tyres (255/35/18). In the before picture, the rears had the wrong size fitted by previous owner (255/40/18).

I'm really pleased with the result.

Suplex UK based in Sheffield will provide replacement springs. Give them a ring, tell them your model and supply the last 7 digits of your car's VIN model and they will be able to post direct to you. I reckon the springs you need are 06231.
Many forum members have used them are impressed with their quality and service.

+1

Called Suplex and they confirmed the correct part no. is 06231. But they don't supply direct - 'Fittaparts' in Derby is one stockist, and they qute £127 for a pair - does that sound about right?

Strange that Suplex aren't now supplying direct. Some forum posters have brought recently direct from them. £127 a pair delivered seems OK.
