Bargain

Anyone know if these Bosch sensor threads are pre-coated with some anti-seize shizzle or do I need to go get some?

Actually forget that. I can see something sticky looking is on the threads under the plastic protection caps.
Cheers.

So many places show in stock, but they just drop ship from elsewhere and it seems out of stock at bosch uk.

Tried opie, they took payment then 2 days later, sorry out of stock.

Here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/335711870726

2 available and 20% off at the moment if you hurry. Won't get much, if any cheaper these days. Ordered these from here a few months back, came a few days later

Thanks, appreciate it...

But i already tried them, all these parts shops don't actually stock much they rely on 3rd party distributors doing it for them.

This place, despite showing stock, i bought 2 then 2 days later they cancelled the order and refunded, no stock at stockist.

This has happened 3 times now at different places. Despite me phoning them first and them confirming they have stock! Liars! Seems like a bosch warehouse is giving out wrong stock data.

There is NO current restock date.

But i have found 0258017025 easily, exact same but 1m lead rather than 950mm. Its LSU4.9 sensor, same connector and pinout.

To confirm BMW price is £279 inc vat for one! Bloody outrageous when the OE ones are these Bosch ones!

Get that one then, 5cm lead length won't make any difference.

Welcome to M ownership  Pray you don't need new injectors any time soon!

Done, fitted today. Inpa shows both banks perfect, no faults and lumpy idle gone...

Took her out for a good spanking, all good 😁

I've had a few newer M's before, one reason I've got the E85 is because it's relatively old skool and i can do the work myself pretty easily and cheaply.

Personally with post cat O2 sensors only being used for cat efficiency checks I wouldn't mind fitting a cheaper brand if I was stuck.

Otherwise yes seems out of stock eveywhere...
