Where to buy genuine BMW parts?

without stating the obvious, BMW Dealership?. :poke:

on a serious note, i am pretty sure somebody posted on here a place with good discounts, i think it was sopers from memory (although i could be wrong). where abouts are you located?

CooperBMW at £107, now all I have to do is MTFU and fit it, and hope it fixes the problem with the airbag light.
 
Has anyone ever used this site for parts? IWantAutoParts.com - OEM BMW Parts and MINI Parts and Accessories - their prices are incredible and they seem to only charge a flat $15 for shipping regardless of weight. The site looks very legitimate and the prices are very tempting. But the location of the "corporate" site worries me - it appears to be a house according to googlemaps 5 Nob Hill Court Setauket, New York 11733 - Google Maps. Well, I finally got in touch with them thru their customer service # - it routed me to Habberstad BMW in Long Island, NY - it turns out they are legitimate - I think the parts ship from either of their 2 BMW dealerships - they will not ship batteries - I asked, which would have been nice for an 850 amp battery @ only $183!!! Other than that, I don't know if their prices can be beat. Let me know if they can - Pacific BMW could not. Don't know what to think about the location listed as their corporate site. Glad to know the parts come from a BMW dealership, though.

I've not used them, and most of the members on here are in the UK. I can't find any information on the company from a google search. Their website looks pretty amateur and for some reason has a yahoo logo :?

Who knows, may be legit but no way of telling.
 
sounds dodgey, they might come from a dealership but then again if they did then why would they do it via a home address.
