Where to Buy a Spare Key ?

Pick up new car ('03 3.0) next Friday and it only has 1 key.

In more than 20 years of driving I've never lost a key but am paranoid about doing so.

Consequently, I'd like to get a spare key - can anyone suggest the best place to buy one ? Are those on eBay any good or is this a main dealer only job and the likely cost ?

Doesn't sound too bad - will enquire when I book it in for a service....

From memory you'll need the V5 and ID (passport or DL) even if you're going in for a service.

They're a bit sensitive about releasing keys for good reason

Yep, that won't be a problem and will call to make sure I have everything they want in advance
