Where is road warrior?

I haven't seen anything from road warrior these past few months and wondered if he is OK. I miss his quips and general humour. :(

You’re the only one.... :poke: :P

I’m kidding, truly. I hope he’s ok too.

I’m afraid it’s got pretty stale here in general, so many of the characters seem to have gone, mickey taking banter is hard to find and when you do try you often get a kicking as you upset someone. It’s very much more serious, lots don’t seem to have much of a sense of humour.... :(

Although no longer a Z owner I still like to follow some of the threads and like the above miss some of the long standing regulars. Things and people have moved on but having tried the Peugeot 208 and Audi owners forums, none come even close to this forum. So long may it continue.

I'm glad you said that. I thought it was me.
I realise that a military-based sense of humour is not everyone's cup of tea, being based very much on sarcasm and winding someone up in the knowledge it'll be your turn next, but..................

I so often write something then delete it, then reword it, think about it, try to work out where the offence will be taken and finally write a tamer version. It's exhausting!
And even then I sometimes feel I have to put in some kind of disclaimer.

There's no fun in it!

I have found a wealth of knowledge on this forum. Every question has a useful answer.
But it must surely be more than just a technical advice centre?
Otherwise impromptu meets like Kinger, Smartbear and PBondar have will not happen.
If it all becomes too sanitised I'll miss the fun side.

Bring back the characters, but also bring back the ability of others to re-read and decipher the meaning and the humour content before jumping straight for the jugular!

To be fair though, reading the 'straight for the jugular' posts is entertaining itself :)

Indeed it is.
Doesn't affect me as I'm often told I have a 'brass neck'

I have seen Road warrior as I went to look at a job for him a couple of months ago. He still has his Z but couldn't decide whether to keep it or not.

I also believe the link Mr Wilks refers to has something to do with that.

Well someone needs to tell him we want him back!!!

I may have to post an Official Donnington meet, for a week before that Feckake one next year.

If your ever watching Road Warrior, come back soon.

You could always just message him via the email link on his profile rather then a PM - that way he'll see it even if hes not on the forum at the time
