Hello Mr Wilks .. just done a search of coaldust .. now I am reading them  .....

Yep he was the fella who entered the forum by telling us his car was great at racing cars from the lights then advertised it here within months as a mint car never thrashed :D eerrrrr hello  :P funny guy though & anyone contemplating a 2.0Z probably wouldn't bother if they read his " 2.0 V 3.0 buyers guide " :P

You think coaldust is funny, you should read nick&sandra's!

Another very funny forum thread. :D A car that brings such an eclectic entertaining bunch of personalities together deserves to become a classic. So I reckon we have many more happy years taking the p##s out of each other to come. :D

...but I know Bing's into Space Opera too
Me too!

Asimov (Foundation), Iain M Banks (Culture), Alastair Reynolds (Revelation Space), Stephen Baxter, Peter F Hamilton, Neal Asher (Polity), Ian Whates (Noise); Gregory Benford (Galactic Centre), Arthur C Clarke (Rama), and probably some others I can't remember at the moment.

I also read most of Stephen King's stuff (although I prefer the older stuff), Dean Koontz, Michael Crichton, Brian Lumley, Terry Pratchett, etc.

Many of my favourite authors in that list, you have great taste

Gregory Benford is not one I've read, also added to my list :D

I still miss Nosa... And Woots ... Who is now an official member of the travelling Red Bull F1 team ! He's gainfully employed too, not just a groupie...

I'm still in touch with lots of ex-forumites who pop back in occasionally, mainly through Facebook. Lots are now proper friends in the 'real world'.

But my heart belongs here.

Off topic Bing .. but my Dad is a author (James Christie)

He is famous in the clairvoyant world (all that life after death stuff ) but has other books he has published ..

I can PM a link if interested ?

also manages Steven Holbrook , some may have heard of him

Asimov's how I got into science fiction, him and H G Wells, Rama books are very good and I also liked the time odyssey trilogy also love Dean Koontz, in fact most of what mmm-five likes too.

I think though, my favourite books so far this century are, Matter, the Martian and Pandoras Star/Judus Unchained

ps The Expanse series was fabulous

pps I miss Nosa too

:) Thanks Tom! Nice of you to say.

I do miss being around but unfortunately as many keep reminding me, you can't do and have everything at once and it makes me jealous seeing all the lovely cars on here and not having one for 18 months is difficult... the most potent thing I've driven for the last 2 months has been a 250cc manual quad bike.... :|

I do keep an eye on things from a distance and post when I see something interesting or when I have internet. Ive just spent two months in Africa and had wifi 5 times and only twice was it able to load anything. First world problems!

I will be back at some point when I've stopped spending all my money on traveling! Or when you decide to sell me your lovely MC :P

Currently in Krabi in Thailand :D and have another 2 months before I get home

If you want to follow along give my Facebook page a like or give me a friend add

Posted some nice pictures of a lion pride in Zambia and also a family of Ugandan Gorillas on my photography page after a 6hour trek through the rainforest.

I miss all the regulars too but as Bing says most of them I know "for real" outside the Z4-forum and have had some really great times and hopefully many more to come.

The Z4-forum was never just about the cars and nearly 2 years on since selling the car I still can't move away from it and the great people who frequent it.

Took a peek at your face book page Tom. I don't post on there much. How far away from that Lion were you? He looks far to interested for comfort. The old couple on the monkey bike is a cracker too.
