Forum's in general are transient places as folks buy & sell , this place seem's far better than most at keeping longterm members either with or without Z4s so credit there to both forum & members alike
Perhaps we should start a "bring back" campaign
i'l start with one who many didn't "get" or get on with but met him twice & i found the guy both charming, polite & most amusing

1) el Taco

2) nick&sandra

:P naughty :D

I've been here pretty much since the start of this Forum.

<--- See the date I joined!

Didn't check it that much when I had the A**i S3 and came back about 18 months ago when I started looking for another Z4.

If you're not buying, selling or driving a Z4 there are loads of other forums.

Used to spend a lot of time on Pistonheads before it was taken over by Daily Mail readers. Barryboys for a laugh at the modded cars too.

I see I'm not missed

I did actually include you in the post them removed you Carol, only because I know you now have the M3 and I assumed you was active in there forum :)

There's a lot of repetition on the forum in terms of questions from new owners.

Plus the fact the majority of mods have been covered, with very little new ones popping up.

... don't worry, the stalkers are still here ;@)

PVR's on a major work crusade at a critical stage in a project plus his other commitments. Give it a couple of months am sure he'll be back

I'm still here - will probably still post for some years after leaving the Z4MC fold - as I did with the Corrado VR6 and M5 forums.

OMFL, In my short sabbatical form this forum I missed the JamesBond confession that he was nick&sandra, talk about multiple personalities :D

and while I was searching nick&sandra, anyone remember navid.v

and remember that guy who was pillared for making a joke about the shooting at the cinema, now what was his name?

Me too!

Asimov (Foundation), Iain M Banks (Culture), Alastair Reynolds (Revelation Space), Stephen Baxter, Peter F Hamilton, Neal Asher (Polity), Ian Whates (Noise); Gregory Benford (Galactic Centre), Arthur C Clarke (Rama), and probably some others I can't remember at the moment.

I also read most of Stephen King's stuff (although I prefer the older stuff), Dean Koontz, Michael Crichton, Brian Lumley, Terry Pratchett, etc.

OK, here's another one for you.... Enfield :)

Before my time but just backtracked a few posts & may be well worth trawling his 1200+ entertaining guy
More recently ( last 2 years ? ) "coaldust" was a particular favourite for late night aled up posting
the cars for sale / no its not / for sale again but not to forum members had me rolling

Marius, I was'nt a member then but actively read the forum for a couple of years before joining when he was being 'Marius', seemed helpful and a knob jockey in equal measures.

There is'nt enough non- pc stuff on forums and in general, the 'you can't say this, you can't say that' brigade have taken over the job, people are afraid to upset anyone these days.

Apart from Lux obviously....
