Where has this piece come from?

So I found this little piece between the drivers seat and door on the floor. I've had a good look around and can't for the life of me figure out where it's from. Anyone got any ideas?

Could be the plastic trim where the metal seat runners end

We found an odd piece of plastic in a similar place in our e89. Turned out it was one of the screw covers in the door trim. Took us ages to figure it out.

Could it be #13 on this diagram?

Yes, I think thats correct. When I got my car it had two in the glovebox...luckily they have part numbers on them and Realoem came to the rescue!

They go just above where the cargo net (that goes behind the seats) attach to the side panel.
