Ok so my exaperiance!! Dropped the car off at one this afternoon and handed they keys of my pride and joy over to some spotty ginger teenager! Asked the bloke behind the counter if he had insurance in case it needed to be moved, he told me no as they just do it where it's parked!

Came to fick it up to find it HAD been moved! Walk in and ask for my key and waited while she rooted round a draw next to the till before finally asking some idiot if he had it! Get my key back walk over to the car to find the bonnet open!!! Get say in the car and looks like he has done an ok job apart from the parrot itself dangling down the front of the dash as the sticky pad looked like it was ten years old and wouldn't hold it! I'll try get some pictures later!

If I have to leave my car at a garage/halfords, I outright ask about insurance and moving the car.
If they say they don't have insurance, I leave them the valet key. Safer way me thinks.

FFS!!! :headbang:

Sorry to hear of your troubles... So annoying when things like this happen. Did you question why it had been moved, why the bonnet was open and why the install was not upto scratch??

Absolute monkeys at these places 90% of the time :headbang:
