They hardly loose any money..There amazing cars..amazing to drive..Looks amazing(in my op)..You ever heard one yowl to the reline?..pf..Maybe even an RS

Deffo my choice if you only weekends..If everyday a nice Turbo

360 just look a bit dated to me..430 was such a leep forward in everyway

Sounds like you have spent time behind the wheel in one.... Most still wont "get it" until they drive one for themselves :)

I never got the whole Porsche thing either until I drove one (OMG!)- A GT2 or GT3 is definitley in my future

I do think the 997's look much better than the 996 though and alas £40k doesn't buy a 997GT3 - so given the question posed, I would still stretch my budget a tad to say £44-45k and get a cherished 360 manual - As a weekend car every drive will be an occassion, and for me the noise of a high revving Ferrari V8 with a sports exhaust is the greatest automotive sound :D

Just been through a similar dilemma. A friend has a 360, I personally couldn't live with that. It's not a useable car, way too extreme for me and felt like an old Fiat, with matching electrical gremlins.

In the end I went for an Aston V8V, worth a look they really are great.
