Where did you take your 'M' for its first proper drive?

Over the Peak District on the way back from picking it up from David Holmes, Stockport (now unfortunately part of the Williams group).

The old Military abroad from Perth to Braemar - as used by TopGear this season for the Ferrari F12 and the F Type :driving:

A week after I bought mine I meandered down to Plymouth and jumped on the Santander ferry - turned left out of there, out of Spain and up through the Pyrenees and western France. A great way to get to know the car!! :D

if in Exmoor may i suggest;
B3290 from Bampton up over the hill to Fai cross covert, Right here on the B3188 to Elworthy and right again onto the B3224 back over the moor to Lynmouth (hairpins here)

Also B3227 from Bampton to south moulton, umberleigh, Great torrington and on to Stibbs cross. then the A368 to Holsworthy, left here onto the A3072 to Hatherleigh where i run out of good roads and it becomes a bit like north devon triangle so easy is it to get lost.

If in cotswolds, Chipping norton to Cirencester via burford is a winner.A361 and B4425 i think

Through the wilds of Kent, including Seven Mile Lane in convoy with Jembo about three weeks ago :driving:

went to the pondarosa cafe on the horseshoe pass :thumbsup: Then went onto to blackjack sands Porthmadog

From Seattle to Vegas and back via hwy 101 / 1, Death Valley, red rock canyon, then through Yosemite and crater lake.

Awesome trip of about 2000 miles.

Next summer it will be something similar but from Seattle to Montana.
