The V1LAN has gone and the replacement is here... An Astra Diesel

My daily commute recently went up three fold and a sensible car was called for. I did look at Beemers/Zeds but to to be perfectly honest after the back end stepping out causing the demise of the V1LAN I am a bit scared of rear wheel drive at the moment .
The Zed crowd have been fun and I will return to top down driving at some point but common sense is called for . The astra is rather bland but will will do for the time being .
The good news is that the V1LAN is being rebuilt by a bloke in Falkirk, I will direct him towards zroadster .
So off I go into the sunset , I may drop on occasionally but coming on thinking " I used to have one of those " is a bit of a downer.

It has been fun comparing shiney things in the summer and amounts of alcohol consumed in the winter.

That's sad. :cry: Hope he visits from time to time or more frequently like Wondermike. It's always nice to have ex-Zedders.

So who's going to continue his legacy?
