I am looking for the black 12 pin plug that from the back of the radio as pictured below:

it slots into a white clip adapter as below (i already have a BMW part number for the white clip.

BMW themselves couldn't help me, and neither could a search of the internet, the only "code" on it was: 1355525-2

Anyone who knows where I can buy one from would be a MASSIVE help

ps. the reason is so that I can put the adapter on my home made aux instead of messing around trying to slot 3 wires in (I know this is not often, but makes it all neat and tidy)

Much easier to buy the little metal plugs that fit in with wire tails attached and then hook up to that. Got mine from Audi.

That's what I have at the moment, but just want it that extra bit neater.

I've ordered that from my local dealer in the past. Try sopers if you local dealer won't help.

thanks Hannah!

it turns out they have superseded the original with an exact copy of a different code: 1394048-1

now ordered 5 (minimum amount)

That's good :) that's a bit of a bummer. I'm sure there will be someone else on the forum who needs this part at some point. A lot of electrical companies seem to do that. I saw that it had been superseded just after I posted the link but I knew you would realise :)

Glad you got it sorted. Quick question, is the white plug 'c' as mentioned in most write ups or is 'c' the black plug.
Thanks.

Yer, I'm sure others will need so I'll put a post on SK93's guide, or if you haven't got an aux and make your own, you can have one.
