Where Are You!

Hi,

Ok, I live in Peterborough and occassionally see a few Z4's round there, but none appear to know anything about the forum.

The reason I mention this is that, you nod or do a quick flash of the lights, and get zero back!

I was driving down the A1 the other day behind a 2.5, went for the nod and acknowledgement and zero! The guy even had a stubby, which made me think of the forum, although I have to say the lack of wind deflector did nothing for his barnet!

God, if someone flashed me, I would be straight into a layby for a quick chat, particularly if female :P

sounds like you swing both ways but do prefer females :D
 
It doesn't take much these days. I was going to say i prefer the more feminie driver, but that would still get me into trouble.

Women! Why else, do you drive one of these things :) Although my gf does insist on sticking her feet all over the inside of the car.

My wife loves driving my Z, you may see her from time to time driving to work between Northampton and Wellingborough on the A45. :driving: I've tried the occasional nod or wave, but got nothing back,apart from once a nice cheery wave from a lovely lady in a black 3.0 pre facelift.Anyone who's had a VW beetle or an MX5 at any stage in their lives will be used to being flashed or waved at everywhere they go.Praps us Z drivers are too cool, or too miserable to wave back!!!! :poke:
 
My dad had Triumphs and keeps saying to me, you seen anyone out today. My response it doesn't work like that with z4 drivers it seems.
 
I have seen nurmerous zeds and only ever had two zeds look my way, let alone actually wave to me! :(
I had a VW beetle and also a bay window bus, you always got a wave in those :D
 
Not far away - in Huntingdon but usually take our Focus into Peterborough. Around here does seem like there's a lot of owners who must not be particularly into their car. Have done double takes at stuff like Alpina's etc but never even a glimmer of response from them that another Z4 is nearby.
 
Same here not had any acknowledgements from other Zed drivers,but on Saturday pulling into Tesco's a nice looking E type Roadster was pulling out we both looked at each so gave him a nod and he responded with a wave :thumbsup:
 
A lot of people still don't know about this place over here where I live
 
A wave is almost always returned. flashing the lights is not a good thing over here. It's even worse in US cities due to gang issues..
