I'll be ringing up my merc 'twat' (industry term for specialist) tomorrow to relay my opinions of his repair then if I get it back in a drivable state it's getting immediately slung in for another motor.

I was contemplating a 7 series 745 V8 but a mate has warned me off them so I'll have to have a mooch.

Ricey, you just had to scratch that itch didn't you. It aint that bad owning an alfa, we've had two and the only problem we had was with a poor wiper terminal block connector.

Every petrol head must own an Alfa(or two) at some point.

I take very few risks in all aspects of life.................bar one.

In the aspect or cars I lump all of my 'caution to the wind' supplies into one.

Always wanted an Alfa so it's a good a time as any to take a punt. I can't afford to lose 800 quid but if I do it's not the end if the world is it.

As for the merc.......as soon as its fixed it's gone.

As for the 745......it was a vague comment about 'googling' them as they have problems. Not got round to googling it yet. Nice looking boat though.
