British heart foundation marathon event - My parents set up the Reading Brach of the BHF and so we used to get invited to all the major events - he was there and so we got to meet him. My brother had congenital heart disease (hence I was listening to his heart in the second pic - started early!!).

When I told friends I saw one of the judges from the great british bake off in Cheltenham Waitrose yesterday, the ladies were all disappointed when I told them it was Mary Berry lol - ladies obviously like the silver fox baking machine (especially you Carol :lol: )

I'm debating whether to post pics in this thread, recently sorting through holiday photos from a couple of years back has highlighted my mid twenties receeding hairline :lol:

I wouldn't say Mr Hollywood makes me go weak at the knees, I mainly like the twinkle in his eyes. I do, however, like a silver fox. My thyroid consultant was one, but sadly he discharged me after three years in February :x

Thanks NDB and Carol - am afraid I did need to google Paul Hollywood and should now admit I lost the goatee a couple of years ago (shortly after the picture was taken) - I only grew one as rebelling against years of being clean shaven in the military

See the bow on the top of my hair? Mine used to do a fountain ponytail and I hated it, I used to push it down after she'd left me at the gates!
