When to push...? Update: hostage amp returned after 3 months!

Update @ over 3 months later -

So after threatening legal action via email after months of radio silence I finally received a response and subsequently my amp delivered back to me last week. Still not working.
What a pallava!

SO I'm back to square one and now looking for a replacement Carver Lear DSP amp or a 3rd party replacement.
A couple of threads on here suggest alternative amps which involve a bit of faffing around with the wiring but I'd like to find a direct replacement if possible. ANy ideas?

Could thump myself for not finding out about BMW's dubious design faults earlier. grrrrr
 
insane customer service... absolutely insane. would NEVER ... treat my customers like this. i value every single one that comes through the doors.... How can i not?? i even recently had one customer buy me a pair of top of the line nike trainers as a thankyou!! i felt so awkward as iv never received such a gift, i didn't no whether to accept it or politely refuse! ( currently wearing said trainers lol)

Chris youve been massively patient i can only hope my customers are as patient with me when i eventually cock something up... which i will. as we are all human!

I think 'paul' who Chris refers to in his email is an alter ego as i heard he was operating by himself and the bar across the road told me he works alone when i called them. Lol making up a plausible excuse perhaps.
Either way, as you say, shoddy customer relations. If it was the fact that he couldnt fix it then why not just say it and return to me?

Oh well, back to square one.
Maybe it's time to spoil myself with a new install....
