When should I service my Zed?

It fascinates me that the N52 3.0 in the Z4 has the inspection I and II yet the N52 3.0 in my 330i only has condition based servicing...brake fluid/oil/filter/vehicle check/pollen filter and a spark plug change every 60k miles yet the engine codes seem the same.

Anyone know why the same engine would have different servicing guidelines?

A friend of mine has a 130i which also has the N52 engine, and that has the same inspection I and II as the Z4. I can only think it's because it is an older model and the condition based servicing started on later models.

Sorry my reply was total bollox, apparently it is condition based on the 130i. But I still think it might be the same reason that the Z4 is an older car with a key to start and so on.
