When is an inspection 2

Hi,
Another noob question but I've tried searching with no luck.
My car has had 3 or 4 services but only an inspection 1 is this right?
It's on 40k I would have expected the last 36k service to be a "2"?

It's had:
PDI when new 07/2008
Brake fluid only at 10k /2yr!
Oil service at 18k /2.5yr
Inspection 1 (specialist) with brake fluid at 36k /5 years

Now on 40k and coming up to 6 years old in summer

I would have expected an inspection 2 by now... :/
 
Inspections are mileage based, but you should have had an oil at year two regardless of mileage. Oil at 18k sounds fine, my old car hit 19k, and again 36k for inspection one is fine being double 18k.

So oil will be next, followed by inspection 2, which could be 30k away.

There isn't much more to an inspection 2, plugs is about it.
