When is a Sport not a Sport?

Good Evening

Been mooching round these pages for a bit and am about to take the plunge but have a quick question.

Going to look at a 2.0i Sport on Friday but have noticed that it doesn't have the Sport button so on that basis is it a sport? Can you have a Sport without the button? its a 2007 / 07 plate.

Thanks in anticipation

Drew

hello and welcome

don't know much about the 2.0l, why are you looking at a 2.0l, you need a 3.0l if your concerned about it

get the 3.0 - you'll only regret it. And cut back 1 pint a week as suggested!

I am presuming the sport button only exists on the auto to improve gear change etc... Where as 2.0 "sport" refers to trim level?

Only 2.5si/3.0si have Sport button on facelift models. You can have a 2.0 Sport without the button.

i have the 20i sport

and it has a load of M stuff in it
real nice finish of a car

it is lacking in power but drives perfect

I think Pre-facelift 3.0 Autos are £450, Manuals are £245

All Post facelift (265bhp) 3ltrs are £245 (went up to £260 on the 1st April I belive)

3.0i 231ps definately "only" £245. Fits into the category 201-225g co2/km - it produces something like 223g co2/km so at least it's at the top of the grouping and gives better value lol
