when did you realise that you grew up?

You're as old as the woman you feel...

I once went out with my nephew's wife's younger sister for 6 months. It was just too crazy, though you only live once

Anyone who uses snowfoam and thinks they are a grown up.... Pffft. :P
Yes, I use snowfoam.

I'm in fits of laughter when I snowfoam the cars.

To the point I end up taking pics and sending it to friends.

When I sold my M3 for a 330i  ...don't you just hate it when you turn sensible...well I did anyway!

Plenty of good time memories to look back on though!

Have you sent a photo of your car "with a beard " yet?

I don't think I ever really will feel grown up. Something happens at around age 24 where mentally things sort of slow to a gradual halt. You might learn more stuff, get more responsibility etc but my theory is that your mental age fixes around that point give or take a few years.

This is why getting old and feeling your body begin failing is so hard to take

My advice; enjoy yourself and be whatever style of grown up makes you feel happy.

One life people, and we're lucky enough to be free to enjoy

I think I grew up when I was 26, upon realising the girl I was with was pregnant and life was about to irrevocably change. I aged about 10 years in just 2. Fortunately, having an equally youthful wife and a son has helped me regress mentally over the following 12 years such that I am now back at 26 in my head. My eyes disagree sometimes when I look in the mirror, but as physical age is starting to kick in and my focal distance increases I tend to ignore them - unreliable witnesses. So I think I realised it, took the hit, and have forced my way through the other side. I'll probably live forever now :D

Having been genuinely contemplating this sort of thing recently I'll give a more serious answer...

I left my job and GF last summer a little unsure about the future... By September I'd met someone new and started a new job. The job's progressing well and the girl - well let's just say I'm starting to think more about houses and setlling than upgrading the zed (don't tell her that though lol). I guess the last 12 months (during which I turned 26), priorities and my definition of happiness have started to change - and I'm much happier for it :D
