12 days before christmas with mulled wine on the stove top to toast the occasion.

A poignant reminder to all us cynics as to what it's all about - I like
And have another

Probably fire ours up weekend of 10/11th rather than squeeze it in one night during the week.

There's some horrifically tacky bright blue LEDs "decorating" some houses I pass on my commute for the past 2 weeks already. Tragic.

We're not going to bother this year - we'll be staying with friends anyway.

Christmas has been cancelled at our house.

Were not putting one up either.
Mind that might have something to do with someone forgetting to get the decorations down from the attic before going away on buisness until the 23rd December

i have not put a christmas tree up for 5 years

thats the advantage of living alone, no need to get sucked into all the commercial rubbish

And same again here too. Cats prove that there's no such thing as shatter-proof baubles...

Ever seen a dog go under the tree and come back out again as a porkipine ? :D

This is the other reason 10 weeks old and climbing everything in sight
