Wheely Harsh Decision

So having recently acquired the E85 2.5i I was all set on replacing the 104's which are far from my first style choice

However in view of the current situation and the fact the tyres have 5mm of tread remaining and the wheels themselves are in great nick with no kerb rashes I'm wondering if I might have been a little rash

So now I'm thinking spacers as an interim step

Was considering 20mm all round but keen to get a view of those more experienced in this area and have included some photos of the current look which will hopefully help inform

Seems the sensible choice given the tread on the tyres, then when you get the new wheels later it will feel like a new car all over again! On a side note how do you find the Tesla? Thinking of getting one when I change my X5.

I vote to get rid of them.

Seconded there's little that makes or breaks a car more than wheels & those should be discarded ASAP.
Sorry op, good tyres or bad I wouldn't waste your ££ on spacers.
Be like putting lipstick on a pig won't make it look any better

If you'll use it all year round then maybe keep them as winter wheels. Maybe not ideal tyres, but will save damaging new wheels.

Failing that, someone else may buy them off you for the same reason.

That's why I don't like them - to intricate to clean with my sausage fingers.

It left my Z4MC for dead which is why I sold it and went the soft top route with the E85 - still don't think there is a better value for money roadster option

No its the base SR+ model which is good for just over 5s 0-60 - the LR does it in 4.4. and the P in 3.2s. Range wasn't really an issue for me especially with the supercharger network.

Seriously 3.2s and most who are going for that don't have a clue - already seen a load that have been smashed up. I test drove the P from their Leeds service centre and nearly totalled it myself on the way back. The demo car was absolutely knackered from all the test pilots it must have hosted
