I have a lovely set of 108s I like the wheels but i have always preferred wheels like TSW Hokenheim ( had the on my first car 205 xs ) Witch are not to different to the csl alloys. My 108s need a refurbish and i am thinking of following the guide on hear for a DIY effort. Shall i stick to the standard finish or change the centers eg black Anthracite / Black chrome??? I could even be a bit different black rims silver centers? i would like the opinion of you guys and galls. The informed masses what would look best on a silver zed. Or should i stick them on eBay pocket the cash and stump up a bit extra for some CSL replicas or the BBS type.

I would go with the csl's but then that's what I have! :D

I'm not a fan of the 108's so i would fling them on ebay and get some (19") CSL's

Agree!
Im on 108s at the moment but I'm trying a set of CSLs this weekend! Can't wait! If they fit (they are M fit size) which I'm sure they will the 108s will be up in eBay too!

the 108's are a timeless classic that will always look good but after i bought a set & refurbed them a forum member pointed out they "date" the car .
as much as i liked mine i couldn't disagree & within weeks they were sold & 224's arrived

As a newZ4 owner I've just had this quandary. Personally I like the 108's but mine were in need of a refurb. I found First Aid Wheels in London. They do an exchange service that I've just done. They took my old 108's and put on a refurbed set all nicely done, swapped my tyres n balanced them etc all for £310 job done.
All you have to do is have the same wheels as they have. I saw a set of 108's in there ready too
Mine however are polished rim with an anthracite middle n look brill
One warning .... They put on long valves that to me stood out like a sore thumb so I mentioned it and they dud swap them.
Very happy with the service. Give em a google.
Hope this helps

I love my 108's... So much so i now have 2 sets!!

But still have my 19's on as the extra inch makes all the difference

What dose the car feel like on 19" wheels? I assume if you ditch the run-flats its not a lot different? I think i am keen on a new set of wheels. I would love to keep the 108s but financially that's not a real option. Dose any one want to buy a set of 108s? They are in good nick corroding is minimal no curbing. Witch makes me think maybe i am being silly swapping a good set of BMW wheels for some aftermarket wheels. its so confusing. If i keep the 108s its defiantly going to be a DIY project but thanks for the recommendation stolichnaya. Might need to use First Aid Wheels when i make a mess of they!! :P
