wheels sticking out!

Tried the 224m wheels on my non-m roadster and although I realise the offset is wrong I think they stick out too much. Surely this would be an Mot failure as they stick out beyond the wheel arch?

did you try moving the car after, when the suspension drops fully, the wheels move in by about 10mm. I found this with my spacers

look great though eh ? :)
my 224,s are borderline but you would have to be tested by the most miserable man on earth to fail the MOT

Yeah I took it down the road around a traffic island and back then took the pictures!

It's only the tread that needs to be in line or inside the wheel arch, not the actual wheel or sidewall.

Thank you Mr Wilks. I've only put one on at the moment but keep looking at it from different angles. Suppose once they're all on I'll get used to them.

They look fine. I love ///M wheels

Have you had an alignment done recently ? If it needs done and the camber is slightly out then that may pull the tops in a teeny bit too.

Think it looks great!
As Bing said, alignment can pull the tops in a little.
Lowering it will pull the tops in slightly aswell

looks fine, now you need to lower it :D
If I lower it and the tyres are protruding wont I get a rubbing issue? Or does the suspension not compress enough for the tyre and arch to touch?
