Hi, had a bit of time to spend on my car today & as I couldn't stand looking at the manky wheel badges any longer I removed the wheels & fitted new ones.
So much better, I even gave the car a wash :P

Got to love those bonnet lines

You removed the wheels.....to put new wheel badges on??
Am i missin something rob?

Hi Rob,

The badges should come off without removing the wheels I think !!

Where did you get your badges from and how much did you pay ?

Hi Ben, they're only cheap ones from eBay-less than £10 I think? I usually change them every year or so to keep the car looking fresh

You said you'd fitted new ones and they were so much better Rob.... surely that would involve putting bigger wheels on and not just new badges :poke:

I was very careful with the amount of water used, didn't want my wheels to shrink any further :poke:

Can recommend these. They have the same look as a bonnet badge with a thick plastic covering, unlike most which are basically a bit of cheap tin plate painted.

The only problem I found with those were that they only have 5 locating pins and dont sit tight in the wheel.
I added a few blobs of silicone to stop them from spinning.
