wheels off advice please?

Right, just changed my wheels over (front to back) due to the rear tyres alot lower!! Also checked and cleaned the drains while the rear wheels were off.

Can you guys tell if these are new rear springs? look like it to me, but just need to know due to the rear spring problem????



Also i think my car has a new hood motor under inspection 2, so if it does have new motor and rear springs all good isnt it?

They look new to me as after a a few years int he UK they are covered in surface rust marks from odd stone chips.

Calipers and disc centres are silver and i have the chrome caliper clips.

The ones i took off i was thinking of getting powder coated black would look nice against the silver caliper.

Yes they were sprayed just masked off everything around them

Mine have been on there nearly 2 years and have a tiny dot on one of then which should be easily removed

Did you also spray the calipers the same as you did the rest? Is this paint rust resistant?

After removing my wheels and inspecting mine your springs look in better condition then mine.. and mine had only covered 12k miles!

I was going to paint my calipers with some black hammerite.. but then it started raining

Mine are painted black as are the calipers

They were done by Wheel Genie in Hunt's and they painted them. It isn't a hard job to do, but they were refurbing my wheels at the time, so did the lot, just get the heat resistant paint from halfords, you cant go wrong
