Wheels- mint condition only

Evening All.

I’m actively looking for a set of mint 108s preferably with rubber or potentially good quality csl reps (cm wheels etc). To fit my 2007 3.0 e85.

I have a set of 108s on my car already which need a refurb due to corrosion and front tyres- so before I refurb these and buy new fronts tyres I thought I’d see what else is available. Mine could be used in part ex if wanted but I’m also up for a straight purchase if you have anything?

I’m based in Essex but would courier or travel for the right deal. For reference my refurb and tyres would be coming in at £500.
Thanks
Jay

Have you seen this yet?

Yes- was keen but it seems they have already sold. :headbang:

It was these which prompted my post as I was going ahead with a refurb on mine before seeing these! Although tbh wasn’t sure about chrome powder coat as I’ve heard they tarnish easily?? Therefore would prefer standard silver.

Thanks though

Drop member "woolybear" a PM , he has a boxed up mint set he wants rid of , finish as originals were with polished lip too

Oh well - I suppose how quick they sold is an indication of their popularity!

Wish I had known when I sold mine last year, then again I'm more than happy with the replacements (Style 230s).

That was my thinking!

Mine had been refurbed before I bought the car, and I thought it was a better idea to get something else before they needed another refurb!

Shame as they are a great looking wheel.

they do look great while they last, it's a shame that's only about a year

The powdercoated ones stay fresh much loner than paint / polished / lacquered ones .
I sold such a set that i later took back , over 2 years later & accepting owner inflicted kerbing they cleaned up like the day i sold them , no corrosion , blistering or peel

Indeed, mr wilks
Powder coating, for longevity is IMHO the better way to go👍

Here’s some images of the ones I’ve had done to OE spec’
