Wheels help please

Dont listen to them.

Sure, the 19s might look better, but come with risk of cracking, more expensive tyres etc.

Thinking about it, what is the difference in tyre price?

They can be added at a later date (ok, pricey, but easy to do) whereas other stuff cant always be retrofitted.

Exactly, I think it was an extra 500 quid-ish for bigger wheels and I got extended storage, folding mirrors and extended lighting for about that instead.

Sorry
But I think 18" make the e89 look shocking
I would never put them near it,
The ride is spot on with 19" , that's why BMW put them on the car.
Good luck

:poke: lol what twaddle, 18s are standard fit on the M Sport, BMW stuck the 19s on as an option for those that cared for them

Tim.

I'd love a set of those 326s on my e85... I'm sure someone did that on here.

Do it Carol, you know you'll only regret it later :D

While your at it you could go for recession white and the cost saving will pay for the wheels :P

Unfortunately not so cool to have 4 cylinders though... :poke:

Just moving with the times ... It's cool to have the latest technology, not an old fashioned lump used for the past decade in various forms of displacement :poke:

Not where I come from, every M Sport i looked at came with 19" as standard
But the cars where in the showroom and not made to order
18" are not right for the car, IMO

Omg boys is this turning into a pissing contest?

Nothing wrong with 18" wheels or four pots.
Nothing wrong with 19" wheels or six pots either.

All our cars are superb it matters not what colour, engine size or wheel size we all love 'em.

Now play nice, naughty boys or you'll all be grounded! :D

The 18" wheels are the standard fit on these cars (the m sport). If you go on the BMW car configurator site, thats what you'll see. If you change to 19", then it costs more.

The dealer had probably specced 19s on those cars.

Just went to the BMW car configurator site (It's a quiet day in the office today  ) and this appeared. I know it's just a security setting, but it made me chuckle, maybe my firewall software now also checks for over inflated prices
