Wheels changed...now this??

Put 19" csl's on my coupe and after about 20 mins driving got these dash lights come on!! Have tried resetting the tyre pressure using the button on the centre console but does nothing. I'm guessing it's gotta be something to do with new wheels or could it just be a coincidence? Surely Not??

When you say it did nothing, how long did you hold it for? It should at least change to red and disappear for a short term if you hold it for a few seconds.

I may be wrong but would expect this after a wheel change due to big differences between sets

When I changed last time this came on immediately, but once reset it never re-appeared.

You can try the reset by turning the wheel full lock left to right.

As above, mine did it when I fitted new wheels. You need to hold the button until the light changes colour and then mine went out on it's own

Lights are always orange including tyre pressure tried lock to lock still the same. Get a beep after 5/10 seconds after too even without moving.

If it's just the tyre pressure light try resetting it on the move, mine won't reset by following the procedure in the manual, but hold it down for a few seconds when rolling at about 10mph and it resets fine.

Tyre pressure would give a RED light which turns yellow After pressing the tyre pressure button. These 3 lights are a bigger problem, but as said above you'll need a code reader to see What the actual fault(s) is. Probably something to do with an ABS sensor (educated guess)

When I change from my summer wheels/tyres to my winter steelie/tyre combo this always happens. I believe its working as it should. You need to reset the tyre pressure sensor by holding various buttons - can't help with Z4 but it is a user setting in the 3 series. I don't think you should be alarmed. Just reset and take for another drive.

This doesn't look like tyre pressure warning as all 3 lights are illuminated. You need to plug this in before you spend anymore time or money on the issue. As said above, could just be sensor but worst case abs unit. Fingers crossed for a cheap fix.

Thanks for the replies...think I need a diagnostic scan to find out for sure. Fingers crossed nothing serious.

don't panic mate, mine threw the same light twice after i had my 19's fitted, just drive it and keep the button pressed for at least 15 seconds a shot, it will go off and stay off.

Same thing happened to me twice.
First time it went away by itself.
Second time I'm still waiting. :(

Car runs perfect,
