Wheels and skirts

Picked my car up today after leaving it with a bodyshop while I was on holiday. As well as having a few marks on the rear bumper dealt with, I decided to have my genuine CSL's stripped and refinished plus aero skirts fitted. To say I'm pleased is an understatement and I'm amazed at how much difference the skirts and wheels have made to an already good looking car. As you can tell Im pleased with the results but everyones tastes differ so judge for yourselves...

The new wheels look great although I bet they're fiddly to clean? Juries out on the skirts as they seem to alter the lines in the doors & I can't make my mind up on them :?

Aero skirts actually continue the outward bottom edge of the door. Much improved over factory skirts.

I've kept my 224's on this summer over the CSL's (mostly due to the crap weather and cup tyres)...the more I have them on the more I think they just suit the car better... :|

That's the bit im not sure about, the standard flat skirt accentuates the curve in the door while the aero versions seem to take away this aspect of the design-I don't dislike them but they seem to change the whole appearance of the car?

Your car looks great and even better with the new skirts and wheels; there is no comparison for me, I think the Aero skirts look great, but then again I went down the same road and so am biased 8)

They do, for the better. :D

Thanks all for your thoughts. The aeros were a last minute impulsive decision but I'm glad I made it

Come on Rob, we both know the aeros aren't the real problem here... the car just had too many cylinders for you :poke:
