Wheeler dealers-

No, but I remember that Mark Evans doing one on a car is reborn. IIRC he ended up spending something like £85K :o

yep i saw it , still carnt see how he manage to buy a e=type for that sort of money and in it that good condition.I always watch that show but carnt help thinking that from buying to selling it is all staged.

Taz x, Yep, its a program on Discovery Turbo. They buy cars, do some work on them, and try to make a profit. Its not a bad program but makes me cringe at some of the bodge work!

It is a V12 2+2, otherwise known as the least desirable E-type, and on the show they a nasty blue colour as well. The Car is Reborn E-type, is an early Series 1 Roadster in the Colorado red, possibly the most desirable (apart from the flat floor model). Hence, the price difference between the two!

They did a show with an M3 that was quite interesting to see the difficulty of removing the gearbox, massive job!

Did you see the episode where they did the red paint job on Mark Evans jag? The bloke had been trained at Maranello and he was a treat to watch.....you won't very often see anyone go to the trouble he did and I bet it cost Evans a LOT of wonga.

He's a vet, must be rolling in it, so he can afford it. Probably didn't put his hands in his pocket though, TV company no doubt stumped up the cash.

Really interesting programme though. He's also done an MG, a 4x4 and an AC Cobra replica I think. Great way to make a living if you've had enough of sticking you hands downs cows' .................................
