Wheel Spacers?

I have a 2013 28I S drive, that's with 17 inch wheels. Has anybody played around with wheel spacers for a better wheel to body alignment and a wider foot print. Just trying to figure out the right spacer combination. Thanks for any help or ideas.

I have BBS 10mm wheel spacers which I didn't end up needing. They are properly manufactured and TUV approved. Just don't buy cheapo unknown brand made of cheese - as it's quite an important part of the set up ! Mine were £80 just for front

Have a read of this if you haven't already seen it. Spacer selection looks a serious business done correctly, and it's easy to make a mess of it.
