Hello guys,

One of my next mods is gonna be adding wheel spacers. The thing is - Is it safe? With 17" and 225/45/17 tyres, how far can I go? I was thinking about like 20 front - 30 back. Is this this idea of mine good or not? :driving:

Thanks,
Daniel

It's a bad idea if you're thinking abou 20mm~30mm. It's not terrible to add wheel spacers, but you don't want to exceed more than 10mm~12mm, maybe 15mm tops. Wheel spacers put extra strain on your wheel lugs/hubs and add extra unsprung weight which means your car will become slower (and of course, the wider a wheel spacer, the heavier it is).

I have 15mm in rear and 10mm in front on my 18's and it sets perfectly..no issues whatsoever in the past 2 years..
