OK, fitting wheel spacers to bring the outside edge of the tyre level with the outer lip of the arch.
I thought this was purely a cosmetic 'styling' feature and that it actually screws up your cars geometry and overloads certain components, wheel bearings etc.
However having talked to a very good friend, a pro mechanic and a solid history of race and street modification that it can improve handling with the wider stance of the vehicle.
Anyone got any experience, advice, links to reasonably priced spacer suppliers??
