Wheel Spacers - Which Size??

Hello all,

I have recently fitted Eibach Pro lowering springs to my car, very happy with the drop but feel it would look much better with spacers fitted.

I've looked at previous posts one here and from what I see 12/15mm seems to a good combination. However, I have also been advised to fit the same size of spacer all round to avoid messing up the steering.

Not very sure what to do so any advice would be much appreciated.

Ta.

If you do elect to get spacers, you will need to get longer wheel studs. Just sold my 15mm but I did not notice any real difference in either looks or handling

I fitted Eibach and Bilsteins, and the wheel arch gap looked too big, for what I had been used to. I intend to change the tyre from 225/35 to 235/35 (on OEM 19" CSL's) to give the car a less gappy feel. But as the tyres are basically brand new, I decided for a short-term fix to add 12mm spacers from https://precision-auto.co.uk. I paid slightly extra for the combination of silver spacers and longer black bolts from memory, about £55 for everything, including delivery. This has improved the look; in my case, 12mm was more than enough on the front. On the back, I changed the tyres to 275/35; no spacers were required. There has been no change in handling with the spacers, I hope this helps.

What size and offset are your wheels ? TBH fitting any size spacers on the front will alter the scrub radius. Whether it bothers you or not is personal choice.

I went with 20mm on the rear and sits perfect imho. Also bought 12mm for the front but ran into some issues, so took them off. Think my nsf dust shield is a bit loose, so the bolts were catching.

15mm front, 20mm rear was super close to flush on my oem style 200s, but I'm on stock suspension. I had no issues with rubbing while daily driving, doing mountain runs and even track driving. Here's some pictures:

Thanks everyone. I've gone for 15mm all round from precision auto. They were fairly cheap so I will see how they are and if I'm not happy can always change them at a later date.
