What size wheel spacers?

I wouldn't wager against most folks not noticing but the question was is it purely cosmetic and the answer is most definitely no.

"most definitely no" is quite a definitive statement ? Shouldn't it be it is possible you may notice a difference ?

Its obviously not just me or Marlon , a quick google search brought this thread up first , ( i didn't read any more but no doubt if i did the results would be the same )

I'm pretty sure you are in a elite minority here if you can tell the difference on our car , that's great for you , the rest of us must carry on & appreciate simply the aesthetics ,
Spacers after all are simply affecting the offset & i can't recall one thread on this forum relating to anybody commenting on difference in handling when they changed from their stock 8j 8.5j et 47 et 50 to the usual upgrade of 19inch 8.5j 9.5j et 38 et 40 which in effect is exactly the same as 20mm rear spacers going on :?

I didn't mean you will definitely notice the difference but it is fact that they have more than a visual effect.

Even in that thread you linked someone said they noticed it. Porsche add 5mm and 7mm spacers for handling reasons and I'm sure you'd agree they know what they're doing.

Of course every forum will have a 1% who thinks they can feel it id be more inclined to go with the reply from VMR alloys though :wink:

Iv personally used various sized spacers and multiple vehicles and I cant say iv felt the difference in handling. The track and scrub radius has increased, but not to the point in which I have felt a night and day difference.

Mine on 20mm front, 25mm rear, lowered about 25mm on coilovers. No rubbing or scrubbing with this drop on MV2 18's standard tyres

What concerns me about the 'visible' mods is that in the event of an accident and Mr loss adjuster taking a look at your mangled wreck is he likely to say your vehicle does not conform to insurance requirements so claim rejected.
