I'm thinking about fitting some 5mm eibach spacers to my rear wheels, just to give it a subtle 'bulking' although it would probably be very difficult to notice. The 5mm spacers dont have the lip for the alloy to guide onto, so as a result there is a little less meat on the hub for the wheel itself to sit on, is this an issue? :?

Id personaly say yes it is an issue but others wouldnt agree. if theres less hub for your wheel to sit on, its putting more strain on your wheel bolts, which may cause them to ultimatly snap. Im not an expert at this, but if it was me id be buying some larger hubcentric spacers and longer wheel bolts. You will have so much more peace of mind

That's basically what I'm concerned about, and the 6mm hubcentric H&R spacers still dont have the guiding lip, so not sure how they're classed as being hubcentric. Might give them a miss and do things the proper way, SAVE UP AND GET SOME FAT CSL's!
:evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:If you were going for spacers I would recommend getting at least 10mm hubcentric spacers and longer wheel bolts. I have 10mm spacers and the rears fill the arches really well, but you could probably get away with bringing them out another 5mm on top of that.
5mm spacers probably won't make a worthwhile difference as the rears are quite tucked in as standard.
