Wheel sizes

Yes they will, provided the offsets are OK.

Plenty of people on here run those sizes with no issues. My 19's were 8.5'' front and 10'' rear.

Cheer ben,

Any idea what the best tyre size will be to run on these?

If they are genuine M3 fitment then i would say you will have problems fitting them as they offsets will be too aggressive. You might be better getting some reps with lower offsets but in the same sizes.

Sorry i don't understand the Offset, do you mean how far out the wheel will sit?

Yep.

Basically on the back of the wheel there will be a stamp which say's ETxx. The xx is a measurement of how far in or out the whee will sit in the arch. Genuine CSL's are usually around ET27 IIRC which means they will stick out further than a wheel which is for example ET40.

This is a good website to see whether you think the wheels will fit. Stick in your current sizes, then compare to the new wheel sizes and it will tell you how much difference there will be.

Whatever you do, don't buy blind without knowing all the facts as you might end up with expensive tyres that rub.

As a rough guide with non M Zs (E85 E86) you need to be looking around the 38/42 numbers depending on wheel width , if you drop to 8j/9j then you can get down to offset of 30 without going fandango on us
If you're car isn't lowered from standard then i doubt they would catch but theyd look a little silly
As said , reps are the way to go if you want 19inch CSL look

Thanks Mr wilks, so the ET 27 on a 9.5j wheel will stick out past the arch?

Looking at these here the size says 9.5j Et27 for a e85 roadster,

Incorrect info on the website?

They would be correct for M cars
This pic shows my old 3.0si with 224s / so the rears are 9j et 30
As you can see you wouldn't want to stick out any more from the arch & the 9.5j et 27 would effectively move the wheel face out by 9/10mm  officially fandango'd :P
