Wheel Sizes

Hello and thanks for letting me join.
I am looking at upgrading the wheels on an e85 Both are factory standard spec wheels, one style is simply larger and looks better. Would appreciate opinions on if it is simple case of doing the swap or is it a more involved job?

Welcome aboard.
If by 'factory standard spec' you mean they were originally offered as a wheel to fit the E85 then in theory they should be a simple bolt on job.
However, it would be much easier if you told us which model you have and which wheels you are thinking of fitting, as then any issues with brake clearance etc would be better understood.
Oh, and it's always a cunning plan to start off with an introduction in the newbie section, with copious amounts of photos of your car.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

As enuff_zed has said it's hard to give advice without knowing wheels you are referring to, but sizes and offsets didn't change during the lifetime of the E85 - except M's and (possibly Alpinas) had different offsets.

Anyway we'd love to see a photo or two of your Z4!
