Wheel Sizes / Offsets...

Okay, so i've 90% sorted my Z4m R - I'll reveal all when i take delivery of it... (Fingers crossed next week)

I'm going to order some alloys and tyres for it straight away, as i want to sell the current 224m alloys and conti-sport run flats around xmas time - People tend to have a bit of cash from presents etc...

The new wheels i want is where my question comes in...

What are the widest wheels i can fit without any issues? I plan on lowering the car so the alloys are fitted to the arches, and dont want any rubbing etc...

I'd love to run 255x18 fronts and 275x18 rears, wide as f**k i know, but i'd like the car to have a 'fatter stance'

Do you think i'd need to have the camber adjusted? Can this be done on stock parts, do i need camber plates?

Any help would be great, if anyones done anything bigger, similar, or the same, again please chip in... Thanks

Hi and welcome
Check on this site threads and on the tinterweb for offset calculators. There are a number of sites that will compare standards with offsets.

Standard M tyres are not run-flats.

I am running a set of BBS CH's and the sizes are:
ET35 8.5jx19 (235/35/19 Tyres)
ET20 10jx19 (265/30/19 Tyres)

My car is not lowered and i reckon i could run 275's easily on the rear........ running 285's would require a bit of adjustment (maybe coilovers).

The Manhart v10 z4 runs 285's on the same size wheels i have but i don't no if there are any suspension mods..... i reckon 255's on the front would rub as there is not much space up front unless you run an aggresive set-up and coil overs (not much adjustment in the standard set-up).
