Wheel rubbing - is it a problem?

Morning all

Garage has just inspected my new purchase. 90% clean as a whistle but they say as it is an e85 with 18s, spacers and eibach springs, the wheels are rubbing on the arch liners slightly. I haven't noticed this but suspect it is only on full lock.

Does anyone else have this issue and is it something critical to resolve? Will removing the spacers solve the problem?

Normally they are fine, but depending on the height of your suspension and the size of you spacers there can be degrees of rubbing, either on lock or under compression.

I have run 15mm spacers on mine with regular m-sport suspension and got rubbing under compression, whereas removing the spacers stopped it.

You can tell how bad by inspecting the plastic arch liner, normally where it is closest to the front outside of the wheel.
