wheel removal

trying to get my rear wheels off to change disks and pads but one of them is locked solid against the hub, anyone have any solutions to free the wheel ?

few belts with a hammer and it off,,,,, thought it was stuck fast

I trust you used a piece of wood in between to prevent damage to the wheel ...

happened to me on 3/4 wheels.... jack it up, take the nuts off, then SLOWLY lower it and you will hear a crack and the wheel will come off straight away.

make sure you lower it down SLOWLY and don't fully drop it. just needs a little force to get them off.

bit of wood against the inside wall of the tyre and hit firmly with a hammer..jobs a good one!

good bit of two by four and job done... all the years of watching Clarkson wanting to use a hammer first should have told me.....

Ye just use a bit of muscle

and a smidge of Copaslip on the faces before refitting won't go amiss.

Loosen each nut 2/3 turns lower car and drive short distance and jack back up and should come of a treat.

I go mad with it now as a smidge never seems to work for me with Z. Any other car was fine with that tho. Weird
