They do have a web site. Have a look there. :poke:

Foolish of me I know, but I have sent my crystal ball off for calibration and googling 'a place in Norwich' ain't doing it for me.
Got a website, or at least a business name?
Please? :D
Ah, you are right. I thought I had posted their name. BA wheels. Here is a linky thing....... https://ba-wheels.co.uk/our-services/

I just had another quote for £260 plus VAT which is £312. A bit cheaper but not as cheap as some have said. http://www.swalloys.co.uk/

No problem mate. I know you 35iS boys can be a bit slow to get off the line, so I was happy to wait for you to catch up. :poke: :D
I'll take a look at both those options.

If you se places like the wheel specialist the it can be expensive - 75 to 90 per corner for a refurb, got to find someone local.

I watched a youtube video of an E86 getting some MV2s refurbed from the above company.

I was very impressed with their process, I would be surprised if they leave the factory looking that good!

If I was local to Hampshire, it would be a no brainer to go here.

Many bodyshops do wheel refurbs and most will supply new tyres too.
As long as they have a machine like this and have a welder:

Having seen the way Mrs Ming treats the wheels when she's driving I think I'll wait until the day before I sell it to get them done 🙄

Scuff mark on the tyre sidewall and a corresponding mark on the alloy. "Oh yeah, I did go very slowly over a kerb in a narrow cul de sac".
I have tried to explain that turning the wheel so the rubber goes up the kerb at an angle is better than scraping the whole bloody wheel along the edge of the kerb 🤬🤬🤬

And then watch us disappear into the distance................... :poke:

That's a 5 min walk for me :)
FWIW I asked Ross at RBM if he knew of somewhere local and this is the place he uses.

I need to find somewhere good either up north (Leeds) or in the Midlands. I can’t justify the trip to Hampshire for wheels.

I don’t know what other members’ experience is, but £600 to refurb a set of 108s (£150 each for 2-piece rims) seems shockingly expensive to me. People like Mr Wilks on here and Simon Ireland on FB seem to put out fully refurbed 108s for £400-450. My neighbour got his 108s refurbed by an outfit in Farnham for £100 a corner.

Well thanks to you both for your posts.

I had been looking for someone to refurb my set of 224s, so today I dropped them off at My Alloys and hope to collect them next week.

I mentioned Ross and it seems they recommended him to one of their customers today!

FWIW Deepseaskateboard I've read a few positive reviews for City Wheel Refurbishment in Birmingham, but have never used them. Or if Lancashire might be easier I think mrwilks has a few places he uses pretty regularly so you could always ask him for a recommendation.

I live in West Yorkshire! There would be pitchforks at the house if I crossed the border!

I will look up city wheel refurb.
Lucky you live by MyAlloys!! Their process looks amazing.
