Wheel Refurbishing

Does anyone know of a good place to get a set of 108's refurbished in or around Cheshire?
Other advice - the rims are not in too bad condition on the outside, but cleaned the inside of the rims last night and the lacquer is coming off all over the place and looking tatty. Do I get the whole wheel refurbished or just the inner part?

Can't give you a place in Cheshire. My local guy in Lichfield can do them well.

IMHO go to someone who can split them and get the 'drum' part refurbished, polished and lacquered. You may not even need to get the spokes done as they are generally well resistant. You don't want someone who tries to do it without breaking them down

Of course DIY refurb is an easy option and I and many have done it

Search any of the internet sites that do it for guide prices. Seems to vary so much based upon what finish, qulity of job and style of wheel.

I've only had very sepcialist stuff done on my centre stars and refurbed the rest of the rim myself.

How did you refurb the inner rims? That's all really I need to do. Had a blast with brake cleaner and the jet washer last night. It got most of the crap off but they look worse now as you can see where the lacquer has corroded off! :( :(
